TIME MANAGEMENT DAILY ROUTINE There can be many reasons why one individual performs better than other. One reason is the difference in time management.
One person correctly priorities thing in order of the important while the other just drift along doing thing randomly. One individual has affixed target in mind while the other does not.
Stephen Covey says that we must learn to prioritize thing .put first thing first. Some things are important, some things are urgent. How we prioritize among st these urgent and important assignments in time management. There are four combinations of these
- Urgent and important work
- Urgent but not important work
- Important but not urgent work
- Not important and not urgent work
We must give first priority to the work that is urgent as well as important. It must be done. Then, comes that work which is urgent but which is not important to be completed but not urgent. And finally, comes that work which is neither important nor urgent. It is the last priority.
TIME MANAGEMENT DAILY ROUTINE
Covey says, Begin with the end in mind.’ have a goal in mind before doing anything, you must have a target that you want to set for yourself. Suppose you are doing a jig saw puzzle. How will you do it? Unless you have something to look at ( the solution picture) how will you arrange the pieces? Similarly, your goal is like a picture and the time your disposal is like the jigsaw pieces. In order to manage time, we must have had a definite goal in mind. Plan your activities According to your requirements.
‘Time is a circus always packing up and moving away.
“The past is history; the future is a mystery.
The present is a gift and so it is called THE PRESENT.”

Tomorrow clouds may come in view
